The office Christmas party season is almost upon us! Have you got your transport organised? Here are 10 reasons why you should book a cab.

#1. Christmas parties for most people mean dancing, eating and enjoying a few drinks. And why not? You deserve to let your hair down after a year of hard work! So you can properly relax and enjoy yourself, let U Want Taxis be your designated driver.
#2. If you are organising transport for a number of employees, U Want Taxis is a great option as our fleet includes people carriers and minibuses. We also offer an account booking service which is ideal for businesses in Maidenhead.
#3. With most festive work celebrations taking place in December, the weather tends to be terrible. But don’t let this ruin your fun! Book a taxi to ensure you travel to and from your christmas dinner in dry and warm conditions.
#4. Christmas is an expensive time for both individuals and businesses. If you are keen to keep costs low, you may find our 20% discount* on all metered fares a great deal.
#5. At such a busy time of year people often find themselves waiting and waiting in taxi rank queues. Pre-book a taxi to get you home without delay.
#6. Comfort is often an issue at office christmas parties, with high heels and overeating being the main comfort killers! Taking a cab between venues will help keep your feet and tummies happy.
#7. U Want Taxis make it easy and convenient for customers to order and pay for a cab. You can book by phone, online or using our app and pay by cash, card or with a corporate account.
#8. If you have been given the task of organising the company Christmas party, you may be feeling a little stressed right now. However, with U Want Taxis’ reliable service, the transport will be one less thing for you to worry about.
#9. Many employers worry about the safety of their staff during the Xmas party period. Hiring taxis for your employees is a good way to ensure they get home safe and sound.
#10. Christmas parties are all about glitz and glamour. So, if the reasons above weren’t enough to persuade you to book a taxi for your work party, at least do it to ensure you arrive in style!
We hope to see you during the Christmas party season.

WHAT ARE AIRPORT TRANSFERS, ANYWAY?

Booking an Airport Transfer means having your own private shuttle. A professional chauffeur greets you at the airport, with a name sign if you wish, helps you with luggage and drops you off at the doorstep of where you need to be, unless of course it’s in a car-free zone. Amenities include cool new cars, free WiFi, and best of all: if your flight is late (or early, some flights land ahead of schedule, seriously!) then your driver will be waiting whenever the plane lands — no extra charges for you, and no headaches.

VALUE FOR MONEY

CAN I AFFORD AN AIRPORT TRANSFER?

Yes, you can. In fact, the main reason to book an Airport Transfer is affordability. You will probably save a small sum of money if you for example use public transportation instead. However, if you are not a single traveller, then any savings are unlikely. Since transfers are priced per vehicle and not per passenger, a family or any group of travelers will oftentimes find Airport Transfers cheaper than a shuttle bus or the metro.

Factor in airport luggage, pickup times tailored to your needs and the comfort of arriving exactly where you need to be. Do you really need the hassle of public transportation when you travel? Will it make your business trip more productive? Or your leisure trip more enjoyable?

PEACE OF MIND

HOW DOES AN AIRPORT TRANSFER WORK?

In most cases, you need to book in advance. One major reason why our prices are so reasonable is that we are able to plan ahead and send cars and drivers where they are needed. In many cases we will be able to meet an urgent transfer request, however most of our clients book a day or more in advance. For this same reason, we cannot issue refunds if you cancel your transfer last minute, when our vehicle and driver are already committed.
Knowing the price of your transfer ahead of time surely helps to put your mind at ease. This is one major difference between transfers and taxis: with us there are no hidden costs or extra charges, ever.

Our drivers are experienced, licensed professionals. They are friendly and helpful, and your trip with us is fully insured.

FLEXIBILITY

WHAT IF MY TRAVEL SITUATION IS UNUSUAL?

The more complex and unique your situation is, the more you are set to gain from booking a transfer, precisely because the service is so adaptable to your needs. Group travel we mentioned already. We will gladly transfer your pets if they are in carrier crates. Your kids we will transfer even more gladly! Surfboards, golf clubs and ski equipment are a few common types of items we handle on behalf of our clients.
